Erin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has a special interest in sensory integration therapy and early intervention. Erin moved to Alaska in 2002 with her husband and three daughters. She loves doing anything and everything with her family and they have taken her on many great adventures, including camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, skiing, and all things outdoors. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering on her teenagers.
Tracey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University. She loves working with children and has a special interest in early intervention. Tracey originally planned to move and enjoy the adventures of Alaska for a year. Then, to her parents' dismay, she has made a wonderful life for herself here in Alaska. She has three wonderful children, two boys and a girl, that keep her on her toes. In her spare time, Tracey enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, cross-country skiing, hiking, and watching her children play sports.
Marie received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Eastern Michigan University. She relocated from Michigan to Anchorage in September 2007 and has loved exploring Alaska and embracing all it has to offer. She enjoys snowboarding, watching movies (at Bear Tooth), celebrating birthdays, fun socks, and all things pink. Marie also loves community runs, teaching Zumba, and experimenting with healthy, fun foods.
Jessica was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and graduated from the University of Indianapolis as a Master of Occupational Therapy. Jessica enjoys travel and is thrilled that her first big adventure of 2015 brought her to Alaska and to All For Kids. Jessica's passions for pediatric OT include anxiety, autism, behavior, executive functioning, life skills, and mental health. Jessica loves spending time outside hiking, kayaking, and camping with her partner Collin and dogs Roo and Lucy. When she's brave, Jessica attempts to master Pinterest recipes and DIY projects at home.
Erika earned her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Occupational Therapy from Husson University in Bangor, Maine. She grew up in Deer Isle, an island off the coast of Maine. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her dog Tinkerbelle, going to the beach, boat rides, crafts, cooking, and softball. She has moved coast to coast to pursue her passion for occupational therapy and working with children! She is looking forward to exploring all that Alaska has to offer and joining the All For Kids team!
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Janelle graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, Arizona, with an associate’s degree in occupational science. She grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas, and had the pleasure of living in so many wonderful places as a military spouse. After 6 years in Arizona, she followed her husband back to Anchorage, where he is stationed at JBER. She began her journey 10 years ago as a childcare provider and has enjoyed working with children and their families ever since. Janelle is excited to continue working with the children at All For Kids Pediatric Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing with her three dogs, and reading.
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Renee grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she earned a Bachelors degree from Logan University in Human Biology. After working in pediatric care out of school she was inspired to go back to earn an additional degree in order to more effectively help children. Renee earned an Associates degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Brown Mackie College in Indianapolis in 2016 and went on to work in the an outpatient pediatric clinic and a school setting for her first year as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is very excited to be in Alaska with her fiancé and all of the adventures that it holds on a daily basis. Renee enjoys being a dog mom, scrapbooking, baking, shopping, and being with family and friends in her free time.
McKenzie was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After getting her undergraduate degree in Montana, she convinced her boyfriend (now husband) to venture north for a few years... and then a few more! She loves to cook for a crowd, drink coffee, play outside, spend time with her family, and dream about her next trip to Disneyland. She is “Momma” to a spunky almost 2 year-old daughter who keeps her on her toes, as well as two snuggly kitties. She is looking forward to beginning her dream job at the place where she first fell in love with OT over 10 years ago!
Julie is a native Hoosier who grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following her passion for serving children and their families, Julie completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Prior to joining All For Kids, she gained valuable experience working in a leading pediatric clinic near Seattle, WA and serving children ages 0-16 throughout the Indianapolis area. Julie believes in empowering her clients by focusing on their strengths and interests, while creating an environment in which areas of struggle and concern can be addressed collaboratively. She enjoys coming alongside children and their families to promote play, learning, motor development, and participation in daily activities. Julie is certified in Integrated Listening Systems (iLs) Focus program, the Safe and Sound Protocol, Hand Writing Without Tears, and the SOS Approach to Feeding. She specializes in working with children with sensory processing challenges, feeding difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and developmental delays.
Outside of the clinic, Julie enjoys being outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
Emily graduated from Adventist University of Health Sciences in Orlando, FL earning her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. She grew up in a small town in upstate NY near Lake George and the Adirondack mountains. Her husband is a nurse in the Air Force and is currently stationed here at JBER. She loves spending time with her husband, black lab Jacob, friends and family. Emily also loves to travel, cook, bake, and do anything outdoors. Her and her husband love Disney and anything that includes coffee! She is so excited to be in Alaska to enjoy all that it has to offer, and work as an Occupational Therapist at All For Kids!
Sarah grew up in the Green Mountains near Burlington, Vermont. She received her Bachelor’s in Human Development from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts. She loves everything outdoors - hiking, climbing, kayaking, biking, and skiing. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, doing yoga, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She worked previously at a preschool and is so excited to join us all here at All for Kids!
Speech Therapist-SLP Supervisor
Christine was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Linguistics. After college, she completed her Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona. She returned home to Alaska after completing her education. Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and pets (2 dogs and 2 cats). She loves animals, gardening, the Alaskan outdoors, and home improvement projects. Some of Christine's professional interests include early intervention, reading, autism, and alternative augmentative communication (AAC).
After Leah received her master's degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008, she and her adventurous husband, Jordaun, moved to the Anchorage area to complete her clinical fellowship year and learn how to cross-country ski! She enjoys dancing, going to the movies, and taking leisurely walks with her daughters Sadie and Cora, as well as with her pups. In her opinion, snowy/rainy days are best spent cuddled up with hot tea and a good book. Her particular work "passion" includes providing therapy on horseback ("hippotherapy"). She looks forward to working with your kiddos!
Vonda Kay graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She loves working with children and specializes in articulation and language disorders, early intervention, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), and working with children with autism. Vonda Kay has lived in Alaska for many years and worked at All For Kids since 2008. She enjoys the mountains, hiking, biking, skiing, traveling, church, and spending time with her family. Vonda Kay and her husband, Mark, have three children (Kate, Max, and Sam).
Lindsey moved to Anchorage from Smyrna, Tennessee, in 2012, where she had lived most of her life. She received her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was also a 4-year member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band playing percussion. She then returned to Mississippi, where she was born, to obtain her Master's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Lindsey enjoys reading, music, mermaids, guinea pigs, and SEC football, and has recently gotten into hiking, bow hunting, and modified cars. Lindsey loves working with children and has a special passion for stuttering and early intervention. She enjoys zooming across the state in her Subie and exploring all Alaska has to offer.
Melissa received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, and went on to receive her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Colorado in 2013.She spent two years working in a pediatric speech clinic near San Francisco, California, pursuing her clinical passions in fluency, early intervention, and social skill development. She spends her free time outside with her husband, Jay. Together they rock climb, hike, backpack, run, and are looking forward to learning to ice climb and kayak in this beautiful place. She is excited to be part of the All For Kids family!
Lauren received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from the State University of New York in Fredonia. She always wanted to live in Alaska. Lauren and her husband moved to Sitka, Alaska, in 2014 and were not disappointed - Alaska is beautiful! She practiced Speech Language Pathology in the school district there for 2 years before moving to Anchorage and joining All For Kids. She loves working with children and being part of a team. Lauren enjoys walking her Siberian Husky, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Emily was born and raised in Connecticut. She graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. After visiting Alaska during a family vacation, Emily knew she wanted to return. She loves to travel, see Broadway shows, and be with family and friends. A fun fact is that Emily has a twin sister! Her professional interests include learning American Sign Language and working with children who use Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices. She looks forward to helping your children grow in their skills!
Katie’s educational background includes both Bachelor’s and Master’s of Education degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia. She began her career working for the Mat-Su Borough School District, where she enjoyed working with assistive technology, behavior, and play. Her clinical experience includes interests in infant and pediatric feeding disorders, augmentative communication, early language development, social pragmatic communication, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism. Whether working towards improved speech and language or exploring new foods and textures, joining play with social and functional communication is her specialty.
Crystal moved to Anchorage with her husband Jason in 2017 and has fallen in love with the state of Alaska, especially the moose! She is originally from Amarillo,Texas where she graduated from West Texas A&M with a Bachelors in Musical Theatre Performance. She then graduated from Illinois State University with a Masters in Theatre History before later pursuing her Masters in Communication Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University. When she is not planning speech therapy activities she spends her time playing guitar, seeing movies, drinking coffee, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and dog. Crystal enjoys providing therapy services for children of all ages and her special interests include articulation, phonology, and voice disorders. She is excited to be a part of the All For Kids Family!
Physical Therapist-PT Supervisor
Sara graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Abilene Christian University and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She moved to Alaska from Searcy, Arkansas, in 2013. Sara is passionate about working with kids and has a special place in her heart for hippotherapy. She spends her free time snowboarding, snowshoeing, bouldering, running, and playing with her dogs.
Hannah was born and raised in Anchorage. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict (Minnesota) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then attended Angelo State University (Texas) for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In her free time, Hannah loves to read, travel, swim, and spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys many of the great outdoor activities that Alaska has to offer such as camping, hiking, running, and fishing. Hannah is very excited to be back home in Alaska and to start her journey as part of the All for Kids family.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Lacy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She earned her Bachelors degree in Health, Physical Education & Recreation at the University of Alaska Anchorage while she competed on the Alpine Ski Team. She was an alpine ski coach at Alyeska and in Lake Placid, NY before moving back to Anchorage to complete Associates for her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at UAA.She has previously worked in 2 different hospital settings that encompassed both inpatient and outpatient with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedics. Lacy has recently moved back to Anchorage with her husband and 2 year old to be closer to family and play in the mountains again. In her free time she loves spending time with family, alpine skiing, fishing, rafting, hiking and travelling. As a coach, she has loved working with kids and sharing her passion of ski racing with them. Excited to continue working in a fun environment with kids and becoming part of the All For Kids family.
Lauren was born and raised in Loretto, Minnesota. She attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then went to the University of Iowa where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Lauren has had a long time passion of working with kids, including being a summer camp counselor before completing her degrees. She chose to move to Anchorage for a job opportunity with All for Kids and is excited to be a part of the PT team here and start a new adventure in Alaska! In her free time, she takes time to explore all that the beautiful Alaskan outdoors has to offer with her friends and family.
Kirsten was born in Ogden, Utah, where she was very active and adventurous. She was always on the go playing soccer, going to gymnastics, and backpacking. Looking for a new adventure, she moved to Alaska in 2004 and now calls it her home. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, biking and traveling. She spends her days chasing her two little boys, Grayson and Beckham, working with the youth in her church, baking sweet concoctions, and spending time with her husband, Jesse.
Kiley is a Washington native that moved to Alaska a year ago for a new adventure with her now-fiancé, Ryan, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Lexi. In her free time Kiley loves to try out new recipes from Pinterest and go garage sale-ing. Her favorite movie is The Holiday. Kiley is very excited for her next adventure at All For Kids!
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Management from the University of South Florida. She then moved to Busan, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, before relocating in 2007 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she practiced until moving to Alaska in 2017. She loves traveling, exploring new places, reading, cooking, and hiking with her husband and dogs.
Karen has been in Alaska since 1977, when her step-dad was transferred from San Angelo, Texas, to Elmendorf AFB. She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1991 with a BA in Economics. She has been in the medical billing field since 1991 and became a Certified Professional Coder in 2008. Karen enjoys hiking with her husband, Lee, and dog, Benelli; hanging out with their kids (son Jared - 20 and daughter Jordan - 16); playing volleyball; and watching football. Her favorite place to be is at a beach with WARM water.
Katie was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She has recently graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Science and plans to go onto graduate school to become a physical therapist! Katie loves traveling with her husband Ryan and is always looking for a new adventure. In her free time she enjoys bike riding, hiking, frolfing, and going to the dog park with her one-eyed black lab Odin!
Jane Hernandez was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, Alaska. She enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and shopping in her spare time. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their three Cane Corso dogs. Jane is dedicated to supporting and helping Alaska's children succeed and is very excited for her new adventure with All For Kids!
